Volunteer Opportunities!

Volunteering is a great way to meet people and to get involved with the Bellingham Senior Activity Center. Most volunteers work less than four hours per week, and there are opportunities to work as a substitute if you cannot make a commitment to a regular shift.

“I’ve been delivering meals to seniors for the last 8 years.  I see firsthand what it means to people.  Sometimes I’m the only contact a person has that day.  I’m delivering food, but it also gives me a chance to check on how people are doing.  It’s a great program.”

“I love to be involved with volunteering with the Tour Program because I have a passion for learning about new places and traveling. When I volunteer I connect with many interesting people and travel networks. Also I find I have lots of new friends and good times as a result of volunteering with the Tour department. Everyone is a part of a team that takes on travel projects and sees them through to completion.”
